The State Rehabilitation Council is a board of volunteers who serve the Governor and is dedicated to work that requires collaboration, fresh perspectives, and a continuous exchange of ideas. The Colorado State Rehabilitation Council reviews, analyzes, and advises the Colorado Division of Vocational Rehabilitation to effectively deliver services that lead to quality of life for Coloradans with disabilities through competitive integrated employment, community integration, and independent living.

The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation has partnered with the Colorado Office of Employment First to create a no-cost learning series called “Personal Network for a Good Life”. This series is a practical, strengths-based tool to help direct service providers deepen their discovery work for richer conversations, clearer direction, and improved client engagement. This Series is a practical, strengths-based tool that can help job coaches deepen their discovery work without adding more to their plate. Enroll in Personal Network for a Good Life (new tab) for free.

The SRC is also hosting the Fall quarterly meeting.

Please join the State Rehabilitation Council’s Fall Quarterly Meeting (new tab) for updates on their collaborative work with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Thursday, September 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Contact Vallen Sarnoff with questions and necessary accommodations at vallen.sarnoff@state.co.us.

The Colorado State Rehabilitation Council envisions Coloradans having equitable access and opportunities for employment, economic advancement, tools, and resources through the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. It is hoped that, through participation in the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, clients meet their employment goals and desired outcomes.
